Uganda Workers’ Education Association
(UWEA)

Uganda Workers’ Education Association (UWEA) was established in 2001 and registered in March 2002. It is now and NGO also people's lives mainly through education, research, and advocacy. UWEA is affiliated to the International Federation of Workers' Education Association (UFWEA) and works with labour unions, National Labour Federations; Labour related NGO and other human rights organizations. it also consults with relevant lines ministries especially of labour and education.

Vision

UWEA's vision is to create a society of enlightened people that are able to utilize their fully potential for social, economic, cultural and political development.

Mission

UWEA'S mission is to conduct education and training activities that address workers and community need, conduct research, disseminate information, advocate and network with organizations. that have similar objectives.
